Chad Reuter of NFL.com's mock draft 2.0 has Lane going to the Chargers in the fourth round.
ANALYSIS
The Chargers have invested significant draft capital into remaking their wide receiver room in recent years, but there's still an opportunity for another youngster like Lane to carve out a prominent role alongside 2024 second-round draft pick Ladd McConkey and 2023 first-round pick Quentin Johnston. Lane had only 466 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns for Virginia Tech in 2024 after posting 538 yards and six touchdowns there in 2023, but playing with standout Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert could help Lane make an immediate impact at the NFL level.
