Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Thrash got into nine games during the 2024 regular season and was unremarkable for an offense that never coalesced. A fifth-round draft pick last year, Thrash was mostly roster-filler when he did play and needs to distinguish himself from a pack of preseason hopefuls to grab a spot in the rotation. That he doesn't have return experience hurts, and Thrash needs to overcome the perception that he can easily be knocked off routes by aggressive defensive backs. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
One grab in win
Thrash caught one of two targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 31-6 win over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Thrash played 24 snaps (42 percent) and continues to help fill the void created by the absence of Cedric Tillman (hamstring), among a number of nondescript options behind No. 1 wideout Jerry Jeudy. Unfortunately, Cleveland's passing offense doesn't lend itself to significant production in the passing game for depth players. Thrash has four catches on six targets over the last three contests, including two receptions of more than 20 yards.

Thrash, a fifth-round draft pick in 2024, is competing at the end of Cleveland's wide receiver depth chart, most likely with David Bell. Thrash was a surprising pick in that other than speed and separation (at the college level), he doesn't have one trait that makes him in obvious NFL receiver. Thrash has issues playing through contact and no special teams experience. The Browns feel he can play inside or outside and are expected to give him opportunities as a returner. The key to Thrash making the roster is by exhibiting versatility.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Impressed coach in spring
Thrash's versatility and production in spring practices caught the eye of Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, per Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com. "He's had a really strong spring," Stefanski said of Thrash. "Very intelligent player, can line up in multiple positions which I think is valuable. And then he showed up, he's caught the ball well and you know the quarterbacks like how he gets open. He finds a way to get open versus zone, versus man."
ANALYSIS
Thrash had just three catches in his rookie campaign, but the 2024 fifth-round draft pick is making a push for a larger role in his second NFL season. Jerry Jeudy is the only member of Cleveland's current wide receiver room that had more than 340 receiving yards last season, so there could be an opportunity for Thrash to grab a significant role, especially since Thrash can line up outside or in the slot.
