Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Golston parlayed a career-best 2024 season, during which he posted 5.5 sacks and started 13 of 17 games with Dallas, into a three-year, $19.5 deal with the Giants. He'll join a formidable collection of pass rushers alongside Dexter Lawrence, Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux and rookie Abdul Carter. There's a bit of a logjam in terms of edge rushers among that group, but Golston has experience lining up both on the edge and on the interior, and that versatility should help him see meaningful snaps. Hamstring issue not too serious
The Cowboys don't expect Golston (hamstring) to miss Week 1, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ANALYSIS
Golston will miss at least some of his rookie training camp due to a hamstring injury that's landed him on the PUP list, but he should be back for Week 1. Golston's versatility should lead to a fair amount of defensive reps Year 1, assuming he avoids setbacks in his recovery.
