2024 Fantasy Outlook
When healthy, Ojulari has proven to be an impactful pass rusher, registering 16.0 sacks over 35 career regular-season games. However, those 35 contests have been spread across three seasons, and Ojulari logged just 18 regular-season games during the past two years after playing in all 17 matchups in his rookie campaign. New York's offseason trade for Brian Burns is likely to move Ojulari to a part-time pass-rush-specialist role, though it could also help him suit up with more frequency. Read Past Outlooks

Registers two more sacks

October 29, 2024
Ojulari tallied seven tackles (three solo), including 2.0 sacks, in Monday's loss to Pittsburgh.
ANALYSIS
Ojulari tied for third on New York in tackles with a season-high total. The edge rusher has been a force since taking over in a starting role Week 6 for Kayvon Thibodeaux, who is on IR due to a wrist injury. Ojulari has has racked up 14 tackles, including 5.0 sacks, over the three-game span, which could either lead to a continued significant role even upon Thibodeaux's eventual return or a spike in his trade value if New York elects to shop him.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2022
2021
A 2021 second-round pick, Ojulari struggled to stay on the field during his second NFL campaign, as injuries limited him to just seven games in the regular season. He was impressive when he played, recording 5.5 sacks and three forced fumbles along with 14 tackles. Ojulari has shown the ability to get to the quarterback as a pro, racking up 13.5 sacks over 24 contests. He and 2022 fifth overall pick Kayvon Thibodeaux give New York one of the league's most fearsome young pass-rushing tandems.
Ojulari impressed in his first NFL season, leading New York with a franchise rookie-record eight sacks. There's reason to be optimistic that he'll build on that total in 2022. The Giants brought in Don "Wink" Martindale to take over as defensive coordinator, and his blitz-heavy approach should play to Ojulari's strengths. In addition, New York selected Kayvon Thibodeaux with the fifth pick in the draft, and his presence likely will help generate more opportunities for Ojulari.
Taken with the 50th overall pick, Ojulari actually slipped a bit due to concerns about a high school knee injury he claimed is long behind him. At 6-3, 240 and with 4.63 speed, he only has average size for the position, but he's explosive and athletic. He should start immediately on the outside as the team's top edge rusher and provide pressure, along with the team's best defensive lineman, Leonard Williams.

Getting interest from Atlanta
LBNew York Giants
November 2, 2024
The Falcons have called the Giants on a trade for Ojulari before the Nov. 5 deadline, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Ojulari is in the midst of a strong 2024 regular season, and through the first eight games he's logged 24 tackles, including 6.0 sacks, and one fumble recovery. The Falcons acquired veteran Matthew Judon from the Patriots during training camp, but Atlanta ranks last in the NFL with just six sacks. Ojulari would be an immediate upgrade for the Falcons' pass rush and indirectly improve an already strong secondary of Justin Simmons, Jessie Bates, A.J. Terrell and Mike Hughes.
