2025 Fantasy Outlook
A fifth-round pick out of Notre Dame in 2024, Estime earned a small but steady role in the backfield late in the campaign, with his first two career rushing TDs coming in the final three regular-season games. The bruising back was a healthy scratch for Denver's wild-card loss to Buffalo though, and while the offseason departure of Javonte Williams leaves the team without a clear RB1, the Broncos added second-round pick RJ Harvey and free-agent signing J.K. Dobbins. Those two are favorites to get most of the backfield work, likely leaving Estime, Jaleel McLaughlin, Tyler Badie and Blake Watson to compete for one or two roster spots. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Eight touches working behind Hill
Estime rushed five times for 19 yards and caught three of four targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 29-6 win over the Jets.
ANALYSIS
The Saints were missing Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) and Devin Neal (hamstring, IR), but Taysom Hill stepped up as the top option at running back. Hill paced the team with 12 carries while Estime and Evan Hull each had five. Even if Kamara remains sidelined in Week 17 against the Titans, Estime will likely remain limited to a complementary role.

Taken in the fifth round in the 2024 Draft, Estime joins a crowded Denver backfield that saw Javonte Williams, Samaje Perine and Jaleel McLaughlin all handle 100 or more touches last season. The Notre Dame product offers a physical, smash-mouth profile the others lack, giving him a clear path to a goal-line role, especially if the Broncos want to try and avoid more wear and tear on Williams' knees. Power backs such as Mark Ingram have thrived in Sean Payton's offense, so there is a template for success for Estime, but he'll need to beat out the competition first.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Chances of lead role rising
Estime and Evan Hull will likely be the only healthy running back options for the Saints in Week 16 against the Jets, as Alvin Kamara didn't practice Thursday, while Devin Neal was placed on injured reserve Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Kamara will almost certainly miss a fourth consecutive game due to knee and ankle injuries, while Neal is no longer part of the backfield equation after hurting his hamstring in Week 15 against the Panthers. Estime and Evan Hull split carries after Neal got hurt in Week 15, but Estime was more effective and has the edge in experience, as Estime has 82 career regular-season carries to Hull's 11.
