DraftKings LoL LCS: Sunday Cheat Sheet

After an exciting first day of LCS playoffs we're back on Sunday with more action. UoL take on Origen in Europe while NRG eSports face off against Team Liquid. Origen and TL will be the favorites heading into their respective matches, but how certain are you they'll pull things out? Personally I think both series should be pretty close.

I'm thinking that Team Liquid vs. NRG has the potential to be a very exciting and bloody series making their players extremely attractive in what could be a high scoring best-of-five. Origen are favored over UoL after going 2-0 during the regular season. However, they certainly have their flaws, something UoL should be eager to exploit.

Daily Player Recommendations:

Top Lane: Vizicsacsi (UoL vs. OG, $5,800), Lourlo (TL vs. NRG, $6,600), Impact (NRG vs. TL, $5,900), sOAZ (OG vs. UoL, $6,700)

I think top lane is a good spot to look for some value. Vizicsacsi enjoyed a pretty good split for UoL and despite the fact that they were 0-2 against Origen, this could be a good series for incurring fantasy points. There is no true carry top laner today as all four members have been very assist focused this split. Csacsi can play a carry role and his upside is high as the cheapest top laner of the day. Lourlo is coming off a very good rookie season in the NALCS. His synergy with Dardoch has been a big part of Team Liquid's strong season. Look for TL to pick on Impact to try and get Lourlo ahead early and often. I personally would choose between Lourlo or Vizicsacsi as I think Impact and especially sOAZ are fades today. sOAZ is an easy fade as the highest priced top laner when he's only had one good showing this split.

Jungle: Dardoch (TL vs. NRG, $6,400), Amazing (OG vs. UoL, $6,500), Moon (NRG vs. TL, $5,600), Loulex (UoL vs. OG, $5,500)

Dardoch is one of three Team Liquid rookies who surprised many this split by helping TL to a very strong split thus far. He's coming off of a dominant 1/0/19 performance against Cloud9 in the last regular season game and should be a big part of Team Liquid's game plan coming into the playoffs. I he's the chalk jungler of the day with the next three all pretty close in terms of who I'd want to use. If you want to go cheap in the role, I'd prefer Moon, as I think that the TL vs. NRG series will be the higher scoring of the two games on Sunday. Loulex has played well since joining UoL, but I think that he's still a risky play.

Middle Lane: Fenix (TL vs. NRG, $7,300), GBM (NRG vs. TL, $6,600), Fox (UoL vs. OG, $6,400), xPeke/PowerOfEvil (OG vs. UoL, $7,400/$7,200)

Team Liquid vs. NRG eSports could end up being a very bloody series. I think both mid laners are very good and both possess the ability to carry games and put up big fantasy numbers. Fox isn't the main carry for UoL, as that title goes to Steelback, but he finished the split with a high kill total and is good at cleaning up team fights. As for Origen, the issue is who is starting? If xPeke starts he's a good play, but if PoE starts he's a risky play. If PoE does start and Origen lose a game or two, does xPeke come in? I think it's risky to use either unless we get confirmation there won't be a substitution.

ADC: Piglet (TL vs. NRG, $7,400), Zven (OG vs. UoL, $7,500), Steeelback (UoL vs. OG, $6,500), Altec (NRG vs. TL, $6,500)

Piglet is coming off of his best fantasy producing season as the main carry threat for Team Liquid. He averaged over 30 fantasy points a game in the best-of-one season and is coming off an 11/1/7 score line over C9 in the season finale. Zven is the carry for Origen. Plain and simple. He's one of the best ADC's in the West and although he had an underwhelming split, he remains a great individual player. If he gets on Kalista at all this series watch out. Much like Zven, Steelback has been the main carry for UoL and he has scored less than 20 points only once in his last ten games. I would stick to using one of these three ADC's over Altec today. Even though I think this could be a bloody series, Altec doesn't present the upside that his teammate GBM does.

Support: Matt (TL vs. NRG, $5,600), KonKwon (NRG vs. TL, $4,900), Hylissang (UoL vs. OG, $4,800), Mithy (OG vs. UoL, $5,700)

Matt and KonKwon are playing in what looks like a high scoring series making both of them attractive options to use today. The savings are greater with KonKwon, but Matt is probably more reliable. If you want to go cheap I think Hylissang presents good value Sunday. Origen are the favorites in the series but the UoL bot lane has played well all split and will be a big part of any potential upset. As for Mithy, he's the highest priced support today and I'm not positive he will earn that high salary.

Team: Team Liquid ($5,100), NRG eSports ($4,200), Origen ($5,100), UoL ($4,100)

Team Liquid and Origen are today's favorites making them attractive plays. I don't think either is guaranteed the win though so in all honestly, I am comfortable using any of these teams today. I think both series will be close and any of the four teams could produce enough fantasy points to be worth using. With that in mind I will personally be going with either NRG or UoL and spending up elsewhere.
