DraftKings LoL: Sunday Cheat Sheet
We end Week 3 in North America with a pretty exciting four game slate. C9 vs. Apex, NRG vs. TSM, CLG vs. nV and FOX vs. IMT all feel like a really close set of games. IMT, TSM and Cloud 9 are the heaviest favorites, while CLG come into their series against nV priced as the underdog. nV are off to an excellent start both in real life and for fantasy purposes, but smart money would be on CLG today especially after righting the ship on Saturday.
Top Lane: Darshan (CLG vs. nV, $6,200)
I think the price is just too cheap and Darshan presents the best upside out of the cheap top laners today. The pricing is very top heavy, but I like CLG to beat nV today after sweeping Echo Fox on Saturday. Huni, Hauntzer, and Impact are better plays at the top, but with not much value on the board it's hard to fit them into your lineup. On the flip side I also like Seraph who has been good even when nV lose a game.
Jungle: Meteos (C9 vs. APX , $6,600)
Meteos has been pretty great for Cloud9 since returning to the starting roster after some time off. Cloud9 should have no trouble beating Apex and Meteos is a good bet to reach 10+ assists in every game from the jungle.
Middle Lane: Huhi (CLG vs. nV, $6,900)
I'm looking at a CLG stack today because they present the best value among teams I think can win. Huhi faces Ninja and I actually like both players in this series. The games should have plenty of action and could be back and forth. If it goes to three games, using both mid laners could really pay off.
ADC: Stixxay (CLG vs. nV, $7,000)
Once again $7,000 is too cheap for the CLG AD Carry. I like Sneaky, WildTurtle, and Doublelift more, but with not much value on the board, paying down for Stixxay's upside seems like the way I'll be going.
Support: Aphromoo (CLG vs. nV, $5,200)
It's risky to put this many CLG eggs into one lineup, so I'd recommend using this style for tournaments. If they go off you should be in good shape, but it does come with it's share of risk if CLG get crushed.
Team: CLG vs. nV ($4,600)
With all these low priced CLG members in the Cheat Sheet, who else could I pick for my team? CLG have been struggling, but got back on track against Echo Fox yesterday. nV have a gaudy record, but don't forget they'd played arguably the worst teams in the league coming into this week.
