DraftKings LoL: All-Star Event Day 2

Day 2 of the 2016 All-Star Event features NALCS vs. LMS, EULCS vs. IWC, and the LCK vs. the LPL. Despite a close game against the LMS, the LCK joins the EULCS and NALCS as favorites on the day. The LMS is truly the Korean killer region, but I think they slip up against the NALCS All-Stars.

Top Lane: Smeb (LCK vs. LPL, $7,100)

I'm paying up for Smeb because I think he dominates Mouse on Friday. The LCK didn't come out as strong as one would expect against the LMS on Day 1 and need to jump back in with a strong performance on Friday. I usually don't pay up in the top lane, but I have a feeling Smeb will carry from the top lane.

Jungle: Jankos (EULCS vs. IWC, $6,600)/Clearlove (LPL vs. LCK, $5,100)

Jankos should be the driving force for the EULCS if they are to roll through the IWC region on Friday. I'd expect him to live up to his monicker of the first blood king and be heavily involved throughout the game. Clearlove is in a pretty bad matchup on paper, but is quite cheap for the quality of player he is. If the LPL keep the game close he should be a main reason why, and it's not as if the LCK is invinceable.

Middle Lane: Maple (LMS vs. NA, $6,600)/Faker (LCK vs. LPL, $7,900)

While neither mid laner has a particularly easy matchup, I think both rise to the occasion and finish with strong showings on Friday. With the LCK coming off a win I think Faker will look to put the team on his back again and lead them to victory against the LPL. Maple proved once again he can stand up to Faker in Thursday's matchup, and now he'll look to do the same against the NA's version of Faker on Friday.

ADC: Rekkles (EULCS vs. IWC, $7,700)

Rekkles has the easiest matchup of the day and should be able to help lead Europe to a win over the Wildcard Region. This is Europe's best shot at a win on their home continent at this event, so look for the team to step up and try to impress their fans. Rekkles does tend to disappoint in terms of fantasy points from time to time, but I think he's a safe bet Friday.

Support: Albis (LMS vs. NALCS, $4,800)

This is mostly a salary punt, but one with some potential for upside. Albis played well against the LCK despite the loss. He'll have to do so again if the LMS want to make it 2-0 at the All-Star Event Friday.

Team: LMS vs. NALCS ($4,200)

This worked out yesterday and I'm happy to go back to the well. The LMS are once again the best underdogs on the slate and if they can pull off another close contest they'll greatly outproduce this salary. I'm not even sure them winning would be that big of an upset, but they will have their work cut out for them.
