Nelson Mandela Bay Giants are ready to face Cape Town Blitz in the 12th match of the Mzansi Super League in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday. The match will be a top-of-the-table clash as both teams look certain in cementing their spot in the next round. In their last match, the Giants registered a seven-run win against Tshwane Spartans on Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method.
On the other hand, Blitz will be coming into the match on the back of their first defeat in the tournament against Paarl Rocks. In the batting department, the visitors will be relying on the likes of wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock and captain Farhan Behardien to score bulk of the runs, whereas in the bowling department, the onus will be on pacers Dale Steyn and Andile Phehlukwayo to provide major breakthroughs.
