The Perth Scorchers will welcome the Sydney Sixers to the Optus Stadium on Sunday evening with hopes of resurrecting their BBL 2018-19 campaign. Scorchers are having the worst season in years as they lie at the bottom of the table halfway into the tournament. They have won twice and lost five matches and another loss will only deteriorate their chances of making an ascent in the points table. Their top order form has been a cause of concern for them and with the departure of most of their first team bowlers for international duty, their chance of making the top-four looks even more glum.
The Sixers, on the other hand, have managed to stitch together four wins in the seven matches they have played so far, despite the failure of the top order in the initial matches. However, everything is starting to click once again and they look good to win more matches going forward. Despite being an away game, the Sixers will start this match as the favourites.
Weather and Pitch Conditions: Overcast conditions but no prediction of rainfall. The Pitch aids the pacers initially and becomes good for batsmen as the match progresses further.
Player Recommendations:
Wicket-keeper: Cameron Bancroft (8.5 Cr)
He announced his return to form after returning back from ban with a fabulous fifty in the previous match that helped them to end their losing streak. It looks like he will only get better from here onwards.
Batsman: Moises Henriques (9.5 Cr)
He was not in

Batsman: Moises Henriques (9.5 Cr)
He was not in the best of form at the start of the tournament but has shown signs of return to form in the previous few matches. He has scored a fifty too in this period and was seen bowling an over too in the previous match. So, he will be the batsman to watch out for in this match.
All-rounder: Tom Curran (9.5 Cr)
The English all-rounder has accounted for 11 wickets at an average of 15.72 in the tournament so far and also gas 111 runs to his name batting at No 7. He has a fifty to his name too and has been playing regular cameos down the order for the Sixers.
Bowler: Steve O'Keefe (9.5 Cr)
The left arm orthodox spinner is the highest wicket taker in the tournament so far with 13 scalps to his name at an average of 14.46. He has been economical too as an overall economy rate of 6.71 suggests. So, he is definitely the bowler you should bank on.
