ODI Match Preview: West Indies vs. Bangladesh match prediction tips

West Indies and Bangladesh are ready to face in the final ODI of the three-match series in Basseterre on Saturday.

The match will decide the winner of the series as both teams have managed to win one game each earlier.

In the series opener, it was Mashrafe Mortaza-led Bangladesh who emerged victorious by 48 runs in a one-sided affair.

The star of the show in that match was veteran opening batsman Tamim Iqbal, who scored his 10th century in the 50-over format and remained unbeaten on 130 off 160 balls with the help of 10 fours and three sixes. He was well supported by veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who scored 97 off 121 balls with the help of six fours.

In the second game of the series, it was the home side who snatched victory from the jaws of defeat to make it 1-1, courtesy skipper Jason Holder's brilliant last over where he managed to save seven to win the game for the Caribbean giants.

The real star of the show for West Indies in the match was young left-handed batsman Shimron Hetmyer, who scored a stunning 125 off 93 balls with the help of three fours and seven sixes.

Team News:

West Indies will go into the final match of the series without the services of star all-rounder Andre Russell, who will miss the decider due to knee injury. Keemo Paul, who took part in the second match instead of Russell, might have to make way for left-arm pacer Sheldon Cottrell after disappointing performance.

Cottrell has been called in as Russell's replacement and claimed four wickets in his last outing during the GT20 final on July 15.

There are increasing doubts if the middle-order batsman Sabbir Rahman's will play in the final game for the visitors, as he has only managed to score 15 runs in the two matches so far.
