Game Preview

Both teams come into Friday's contest looking to curtail losing streaks, with the Brothers having dropped two straight games and the Monkeys are in the midst of a three-game losing streak. The two teams are only one game apart in victories, but Rakuten is in second place while Chinatrust comes in last.

The two pitchers have been among the most effective in the CPBL this season, so this could be a low-scoring affair. However, it's worth noting Bonilla had some extensive trouble against the Brothers in a couple of earlier starts this season, which may give the edge to Chinatrust in its quest to get back in the win column.

Chou Szu-Chi, Brothers- Chou enters Friday's contest with an impressive .325/.388/.560 line that is partly comprised of 26 extra-base hits (16 doubles, one triple, nine home runs) and 44 RBI. He's been a trustworthy contact hitter with 37 strikeouts in 216 plate appearances and has four double-digit Dream11 fantasy-point tallies in his last seven games. 

Hsu Chi-Hung, Brothers- Hsu posted 19 Dream11 points the last time he faced the Monkeys and also has tallies of 29 and 10 over his last five games. He's also sporting a .315/.386/.569 slash with 26 extra-base hits (14 doubles, 12 homers) and 42 RBI over 62 games. 

Su Wei-Ta, Brothers- Su is enjoying a career-best season, as evidenced by his .318/.389/.606 line that's partly comprised of 18 doubles, 13 homers and 50 RBI. Su also posted 18 Dream11 points versus the Monkeys in his last game against them and has tallies of 14, 21 and 21 over his last eight contests as well.

Lin Chih-Ping, Monkeys- Lin is a consideration despite the matchup against Jose DePaula. The veteran sports a fantastic .395/.441/.503 line and has 15 XBH, nine steals and 32 RBI.
