Each week I share my favorite college player props as part of our DFS College Football series.

We find our edge with RotoWire's Picks & Props tool. Multiple prediction factors help decide if we should lean "higher" or "lower" on all of the player props available across multiple DFS sites and sportsbooks. I use the tool as a starting point to highlight props that I might otherwise miss and to narrow down my options before doing a deeper dive into matchups and trends.

Below are some of the best picks you can make on Underdog this week.

QB Kiael Kelly, Ball State

My fellow college fantasy football enthusiasts know that Kelly can be a solid fantasy asset, but that's based on his rushing upside. As a passer, he's only averaging 21 attempts per game and is completing just 57.1% of his passes. He has only topped 140 yards in two of eight games this season.

Kent State offers a favorable matchup for the passing game, but the Flashes also have one of the worst rushing defenses in the country, allowing over 204 rush yards per game. In other words, Kelly could have one of his best passing games of the season against Kent State, but he won't need to. Watch for Ball State to stick with the ground game with top running back Qua Ashley and Kelly both getting plenty of carries.

CFB Underdog Pick: Kiael Kelly, LOWER than 159.5 pass yards

QB Diego Pavia, Vanderbilt

After a standout performance against Texas last week, Pavia will probably be a popular "higher" pick this week. However, I'm looking at his full body of work and seeing a lot of lower passing yardage totals when facing Power Conference teams. Other than the big showing last week, Pavia has only topped 200 yards against Charleston Southern, Georgia State and Utah State.

Auburn comes in ranked 22nd in the country in total defense and 16th in sacks per game. The Tigers should be able to bring the pressure to limit the explosive plays that Pavia will need to top this number.

CFB Underdog Pick: Diego Pavia, LOWER than 210.5 pass yards

RB Carson Hansen, Iowa State

My take on Virginia's J'Mari Taylor last week may have been proven wrong, but I'm sticking with my logic here. Typically, the only rushing yards lines set at over 85 are for guys like Cam Cook, Robert Henry and Ahmad Hardy, who are among the nation's rushing leaders. Hansen falls far short of that tier.

I've previously written about Hansen in this article twice, and he fell short of 50 yards in both of those games, so you know I'm going with the under this week too. It seems that he has wrestled away the lead running back role from Abu Sama, but we have nearly two full seasons of evidence indicating that both backs could be a factor and the "hot hand" could take over.

Iowa State will face a solid TCU run defense that ranks 34th in the country, allowing fewer than 120 rushing yards per game. The better way to attack TCU is through the air, where the Horned Frogs rank 116th, allowing over 250 pass yards per game.

CFB Underdog Pick: Carson Hansen, LOWER than 95.5 rush yards

WR Dakorien Moore, Oregon

I could be walking into a trap here, but I can't resist with a line this low. The line was already low at 38.5 yards and then dropped another two yards within the past couple of hours (which you can track for yourself using the Line Movement feature of the Picks tool).

A low number is justified, as Oregon will face Iowa's 2nd ranked total defense with rain in the forecast. However, I'll trust Coach Dan Lanning and company to scheme up a strong game plan coming off the bye. The potential rain is concerning, but Moore did manage to finish with 45 yards in rainy weather two weeks ago with his backup quarterback playing nearly half of the game.

Dakorien has topped this number in seven straight games as Dante Moore's top target.

CFB Underdog Pick: Dakorien Moore HIGHER than 36.5 receiving yards
