Mensah announced Wednesday that he has committed to Duke, joining the program as a transfer from Tulane, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.

With Duke losing incumbent starting quarterback Maalik Murphy to the transfer portal earlier this week, Mensah will likely become the heir apparent in Durham. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback was a first-year starter for Tulane as a redshirt freshman in 2024 and capably replaced the departed Michael Pratt, completing 65.9 percent of his passes for 2,723 yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions while adding 132 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Mensah will have three more years of eligibility to use beginning in 2025.
