The Wednesday College Basketball action features a 10-game DraftKings slate, with Alabama and Florida highlighting tonight's games that includes five top-25 teams taking the court. The featured contest on DraftKings is the $10 Big Jam with $3,000 to first, while FanDuel has the $7.77 All-American with a $500 top payout.
Top Players
Javon Freeman-Liberty, G, DePaul ($8,800 DK)
Freeman-Liberty doesn't get the national attention he deserves playing on DePaul despite being one of the best scorers in the country at over 20 ppg. Tonight he gets a great matchup against St. John's, with an over/under total in the 150s with the Red Storm pushing the tempo and lacking much resistance on the defensive end. He makes for a great target in GPPs having already logged a pair of 50+ point fantasy games.
Ryan Hawkins, F, Creighton ($7,700 DK, $8,400 FD)
Hawkins excelled in his first meeting against Villanova, posting a double-double, and he now has four on the season. Impressively, the D-II transfer has played some of his best basketball against Creighton's toughest opponents and has the upside for this salary range with three 40+ fantasy point outings over his last four games. Hawkins has been a reliable scorer with efficient shooting splits of 53/38/76.
Middle Tier
Mouhamadou Gueye, F, Pittsburgh ($6,900 DK)
Gueye has emerged for Pitt recently, averaging 14.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and three blocks over the last three games. He certainly creates matchup issues for opposing defenses, and at 6-foot-10, he can play with his back to the basket while also shooting 38 percent from three. Another big development has been his playing time. After averaging 16.6 minutes through the first five games of the season, he's played at least 34 in his last three.
Justin Moore, G, Villanova ($6,600 DK, $6,300 FD)
Moore was held to a season-low six points in the team's first meeting with Creighton, however, Villanova looked flat as a whole and that shouldn't be the case back on its home floor tonight. Moore is just the third-highest priced Wildcat despite leading the team in usage rate, and he rarely comes off the court, having logged 36 minutes in each of the last three games. His floor should be safe tonight with GPP upside if he gets hot from three.
Values
Noah Locke, G, Louisville ($4,800 DK)
Locke leads Louisville in shot percentage, accounting for 27.9 percent of the team's shots when he's on the floor, but he surprisingly comes in with a sub-$5k salary. He's also seen over 30 minutes in two of the team's last three games, making him a pretty easy player to confidently put in your lineups tonight. This should be a good matchup for the long-range specialist, as Pittsburgh ranks 228th nationally in 3-point percentage defense.
Anthony Duruji, F, Florida ($4,800 DK, $4,900 FD)
Duruji's last DraftKings salary came in at $5,800, and he gets a drop in price despite posting a 25-point fantasy output since. He's emerged as a reliable option as a role player for the Gators, connecting on 57 percent of his field goals while being able to score when driving to the rim as well as a solid long-range shooter. With Alabama playing at a fast pace and also weaker on the defensive end, this should be a good spot for Duruji to take advantage.
