Knicks Stay Alive With Pivotal Game 5 Win
The New York Knicks defeated the Miami Heat, 112-103, at Madison Square Garden in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Wednesday. The Heat lead the series 3-2.

The Knicks had their backs against the wall in this game, as they needed the victory to keep their season alive against a surprising Heat team. New York endured a rough start, and it looked as if its season would go down the drain, but the team recovered just in time to pull a comeback and win. The Knicks made it a double-digit game after keeping the foot on the gas in the third quarter, winning that period by a 34-27 score. Miami won the final quarter by a 29-28 score, but that was not enough to mount a comeback. Game 6 will be played Friday at Kaseya Center.
