Warriors Steamroll Lakers In Game 2
The Golden State Warriors defeated the visiting Los Angeles Lakers, 127-100, in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals at Chase Center on Thursday.

The game got out to a competitive start and the Lakers pushed ahead to a, 33-26, lead after one quarter. The Warriors took over the momentum in the second and outscored the visitors, 41-23, to claim an 11-point cushion at the break. The Warriors kept the pressure on in the third and outscored the Lakers by another 19 points, to make it a 30-point deficit heading into the final frame. The Lakers had no response in the fourth, as the Warriors were able to cruise to the much-needed home win and tie the series at 1-1.

Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 30 points on 11-of-18 shooting, in 31 minutes of action. Stephen Curry followed up with 20 points, four rebounds, 12 assists and a steal, while JaMychal Green added 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting. The Warriors shot 50.5 percent from the field, including 21-of-42 from long range.

Meanwhile, LeBron James led the Lakers with 23 points, seven rebounds, three assists and a steal, in 28 minutes. Rui Hachimura followed up with 21 points, five rebounds and a steal, while Anthony Davis added 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three blocks and a steal. The Lakers shot 42.6 percent from the field, including 10-of-34 from deep.

Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday in Los Angeles.
