Bucks Hold On To Top Pistons
The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the visiting Detroit Pistons, 120-118, at Fiserv Forum on Wednesday evening.

The game got out to a tight start as the Bucks led, 24-23, through one quarter. The hosts picked up the pace in the second and outscored the Pistons by nine points in the quarter, to take a 10-point advantage into the break. Giannis Antetokounmpo was tossed from the game early in the third quarter due to picking up a second technical and as a result, the Pistons took over, outscoring the hosts, 43-28, to take a five-point edge into the final quarter. The Bucks regrouped and fought through the fourth, coming up clutch in the final minutes to secure their third straight win. This also marks the sixth consecutive loss for the Pistons.

Damian Lillard led the way for the Bucks with 34 points, two rebounds, three assists and three steals, in 34 minutes. Antetokounmpo finished with 15 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three blocks, while Bobby Portis totaled 18 points, five rebounds and two assists. The Bucks shot 45.6 percent from the field, including 11-for-37 from long range.

Meanwhile, Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 33 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, in 39 minutes. Marcus Sasser followed up with 26 points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal, while Killian Hayes added 14 points, five rebounds, four assists and a steal. The Pistons shot 49.0 percent from the field, including 7-for-29 from deep.

The Pistons (2-7) will look to bounce back as they play host to the 76ers on Friday. The Bucks (5-2) will be right back in action as they take on the Pacers in Indiana on Thursday.
