Pelicans Blast Warriors, 141-105
The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Golden State Warriors, 141-105, at Chase Center on Wednesday night.

The Pelicans (23-15) provided an indication of how the night would go right from the start, building a 46-27 lead in the first quarter with blistering hot shooting. The Warriors (17-20) played their best quarter in the second, lopping six points from their deficit via a 33-point haul. However, New Orleans quickly snuffed out any hopes of Golden State's resurgence continuing in the second half by pushing its advantage back out to 22 points, setting up the lopsided victory.

Jonas Valanciunas led the Pelicans with 21 points, adding nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block. Zion Williamson registered 19 points, seven assists, five rebounds and one steal. Trey Murphy turned in 16 points, six assists, four rebounds and one block. CJ McCollum and Jordan Hawkins produced matching 14-point contributions, adding two assists and one rebound. Brandon Ingram furnished 13 points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal. Herbert Jones and Naji Marshall collected 12 points each while posting five and three rebounds, respectively.

Moses Moody paced the Warriors with 21 points, complementing them with two rebounds and one steal. Trayce Jackson-Davis managed 19 points, five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. Stephen Curry delivered 15 points, six assists, one rebound and one steal. Klay Thompson registered 13 points, four rebounds, two assists and one block. Jonathan Kuminga finished with 12 points, four assists, three rebounds and one block.

The Pelicans remain on the road and visit the Denver Nuggets on Friday night, while the Warriors visit the Chicago Bulls on Friday night.
