Nuggets Too Much For Mavs
The Denver Nuggets defeated the visiting Dallas Mavericks, 130-104, at Ball Arena on Monday evening.

The hosts got out to a strong start and led, 28-20, after one quarter. Both sides picked up the pace in the second, but the Nuggets maintained control for a nine-point advantage heading into the break. The Mavs had no answers in the third, as the Nuggets added another nine points to their cushion, making it an 18-point game after three quarters. The hosts did not hold back in the fourth and charged all the way to the 26-point win.

Jamal Murray led the Nuggets with 22 points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block, in 25 minutes. Aaron Gordon followed up with 21 points, five rebounds, five assists and a steal, while Reggie Jackson turned in 20 points and four assists.

Meanwhile, Luka Doncic led the Mavs with 38 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, in 36 minutes. Dante Exum was the only other player to score in double digits, with 11 points on 5-for-5 shooting. Dwight Powell added eight points and eight rebounds.

The Mavericks (16-10) will look to bounce back as they play host to the Clippers on Wednesday. The Nuggets (18-10) take on the Raptors in Toronto on Wednesday.
