Warriors Hang On At Home And Force Game 6
The Golden State Warriors defeated the visiting Los Angeles Lakers, 121-106, in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals at Chase Center on Wednesday evening.

The Warriors jumped out to a quick 12-point lead, but the Lakers cut it back to a four-point deficit after one quarter. The score stayed close early in the second, but the Warriors pushed it back to an 11-point game by halftime. The visitors could not gain any momentum in the third, as the Warriors kept the upper hand and carried their 11-point cushion into the final frame. The Lakers had no answers in the final frame, as the Warriors held on for the critical win to keep their playoff run alive.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 27 points, three rebounds, eight assists and a block, in 39 minutes. Andrew Wiggins followed up with 25 points, seven rebounds, five assists and a steal, while Draymond Green totaled 20 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block. The Warriors shot 51.1 percent from the field, including 13-of-35 from long range.

Meanwhile, LeBron James led the Lakers with 25 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block, in 39 minutes. Anthony Davis followed up with 23 points, nine rebounds and three assists, while Austin Reaves and D'Angelo Russell chipped in 15 points each. The Lakers shot 48.3 percent from the field, including 10-of-27 from deep.

Game 6 is scheduled for Friday in Los Angeles.
