Timberwolves Topple Clippers, 108-101
The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, 108-101, at Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday night.

The Clippers (33-31) came into the contest hoping to atone for back-to-back overtime losses and got their quest off to a solid start by establishing a 33-26 lead through one. However, the Timberwolves (32-32), hoping to get to .500, found life in the middle quarters, a span in which they outscored Los Angeles by a 60-42 margin to take an 11-point lead into the final period. L.A. would get as close as within four with 42 seconds remaining, but Minnesota sealed the victory with a Rudy Gobert dunk and an Anthony Edwards free throw.

Jaden McDaniels led the Timberwolves with 20 points, adding six rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block. Edwards totaled 18 points, four boards, three assists, three steals and two blocks. Gobert managed 16 points, seven rebounds and two blocks. Kyle Anderson and Naz Reid generated matching 12-point contributions while providing 10 and eight rebounds, respectively. Taurean Prince netted 10 points.

Paul George paced the Clippers with 25 points, supplementing them with six boards, three assists and three steals. Kawhi Leonard turned in 23 points, five rebounds, five assists and one steal. Russell Westbrook supplied a 14-point, 10-assist double-double that included seven rebounds and one steal. Norman Powell poured in 13 points, while Ivica Zubac posted 12 points, nine rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal.

The Timberwolves remain on the road and in Los Angeles specifically to face the Lakers on Friday night, while the Clippers visit the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.
