Heat Defeat Clippers, 110-100
The Miami Heat defeated the host Los Angeles Clippers, 110-100, at Crypto.com Arena on Monday.

This was a true tale of four quarters, with all of them being decided by six points or more. With that said, Miami led 67-49 at the half and rode a 29-17 fourth quarter to their victory. Los Angeles took a short lead behind a 34-14 third quarter, but those other three quarters were too much to overcome. Miami shot 46 percent from the field while holding Los Angeles to 43 percent shooting. They also attempted 18 more shots than LA, winning the turnover battle, 15-11. The Heat also out-rebounded the Clippers, 53-39, while outscoring them in the paint, 48-28.

The Heat (20-18) were led by Bam Adebayo, accruing 31 points and 13 rebounds on 12-of-19 from the field. Tyler Herro tallied 23 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Victor Oladipo led the bench with 15 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Max Strus provided 13 points, eight rebounds and two assists.

The Clippers (21-18) were led by Paul George, collecting 25 points, three rebounds, seven assists and four steals. Marcus Morris totaled 14 points and seven rebounds. Ivica Zubac had 10 points and seven boards, while Reggie Jackson generated nine points, two rebounds and five assists. Luke Kennard led the bench with 11 points.

On deck for Miami is a road matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday. As for the Clippers, they return to action on Thursday in a road matchup with the Denver Nuggets.
