Timberwolves Come Out On Top At Home
The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the visiting Sacramento Kings, 117-110, at Target Center on Saturday.

The Timberwolves jumped out to a strong start and led, 29-21, after one quarter. The Kings came out better in the second and outscored the hosts by 10, to take a two-point lead by halftime. The Timberwolves reclaimed momentum in the third and outscored the visitors, 33-22, to amass a nine-point lead heading into the final quarter. They kept the pressure on and stayed one step ahead the rest of the way to close out their third straight win.

Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 34 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block, in 38 minutes. D'Angelo Russell followed up with 25 points, two rebounds, six assists and a steal, while Jaden McDaniels tallied 15 points, eight rebounds and two assists. The Timberwolves shot 52.5 percent from the field, including 17-of-37 from deep.

Meanwhile, De'Aaron Fox led the Kings with 29 points, three rebounds, six assists and two steals, in 35 minutes. Domantas Sabonis followed up with 23 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, while Harrison Barnes and Malik Monk chipped in 13 points each. The Kings shot 45.1 percent from the field, including 9-of-33 from long range.

The Timberwolves (27-25) and Kings (27-21) clash again in Minnesota on Monday.
