Nets Defeat Knicks, 122-115
The Brooklyn Nets defeated the visiting New York Knicks, 122-115, at Barclay's Center on Saturday.

A 28-22 first quarter set the foundation for Brooklyn in this win, maintaining the lead for the final three quarters. They put things to bed behind a 34-27 second quarter and got their lead up to 19 points at times in the second half. With that said, NY got it down to a three-point margin in the final three minutes but never had a game-tying attempt after the opening frame. The Nets shot 53 percent from the field and 55 percent from three-point range (22-of-40) while holding the Knicks to 51 percent from the field and 36 percent from long range (10-of-28). Brooklyn also out-assisted New York, 31-19.

The Knicks (27-24) were led by Jalen Brunson, collecting 26 points, three rebounds and four assists. Julius Randle registered 19 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. RJ Barrett totaled 24 points, six rebounds and two assists, while Immanuel Quickley led the bench with 16 points, six rebounds and three assists. Quentin Grimes had 10 points and four boards.

The Nets (30-19) were led by Kyrie Irving, finishing with 32 points, six rebounds, nine assists and two steals, scoring 21 of those in the fourth quarter. Joe Harris had 16 points, two rebounds and two assists. Royce O'Neale accrued 14 points, five rebounds and three assists, while Nic Claxton compiled 13 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and three blocks.

On deck for Brooklyn is a home matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday. As for New York, they return home to play the Lakers on Tuesday for their next outing as well.
