Pacers Upset Celtics, 117-112
The Indiana Pacers defeated the Boston Celtics, 117-112, at TD Garden on Wednesday night.

The Pacers (16-16) came into the game as notable underdogs, but Indiana immediately shocked the Celtics (22-10) by establishing a 42-22 lead through one and taking a 71-43 advantage into halftime. Boston then played its best quarter of the game in the third, putting up 42 points to knock 13 points from its deficit. The hosts then followed it up with a 27-17 edge in a dominant final period, getting within five with 18.1 seconds remaining before falling just short.

Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 33 points, adding eight assists, three rebounds and one steal. Aaron Nesmith furnished 15 points, six boards, three assists and two steals. Chris Duarte totaled 14 points, three rebounds and one assist. Myles Turner turned in 10 points, six rebounds, three assists and one steal.

Jayson Tatum paced the Celtics with 41 points, complementing them with five rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block. Jaylen Brown generated a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double that included two assists and one steal. Malcolm Brogdon delivered 18 points, seven assists, four boards and two steals. Sam Hauser netted 10 points, six rebounds, two steals and one block.

The Pacers remain on the road and take on the Miami Heat on Friday night, while the Celtics remain home and welcome in the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night as well.
