Best MLB Bets Today
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Milwaukee Brewers: Blake Snell over 6.5 strikeouts, -145 @ Ceasars Sportsbook
Snell will start the series opener for the second time this postseason for Los Angeles, and the results so far have been encouraging. The left-hander has pitched 13 innings in the playoffs so far, allowing two runs on five hits and five walks while striking out 18 en route to back-to-back wins against the Reds and Phillies. The Brewers are a more complicated opponent, and a tough team to strike out overall, but Snell has been nearly unhittable of late. He also notched at least six punch outs in four of his last five starts in the regular season, so there's definitely a good floor in this line. Even though the lefty owns an inflated 5.79 ERA over 14 innings in three career outings versus the Brewers, expect that to change here. We believe Snell should be good at least seven K's as the Dodgers need their pitching to be outstanding to have a shot in the series.

Seattle Mariners vs. Toronto Blue Jays: Trey Yesavage over 1.5 earned runs, -108 @ DraftKings
Yesavage made his postseason debut against the Yankees in Game 2 of the ALDS and delivered a gem, tossing 5.1 scoreless and hitless innings while racking up 11 strikeouts. While dominating the Yankees is a good sign of things to come, it's hard to imagine the 22-year-old posting a similar outing this time around. The Mariners are a more complex offense with far more variety than the Yankees, and at some point, the playoff jitters will catch up to the rookie. Plus, Yesavage has made only four starts in his MLB career, so he's likley to regress at some point. Even though he's allowed fewer than 1.5 earned runs in three of those four outings, that might be about to change here.

Seattle Mariners vs. Toronto Blue Jays: Vladimir Guerrero over 1.5 total bases, +100 @ BetMGM
Guerrero was stellar against the Yankees in the ALDS, hitting 9-for-17 (.529) with three homers, nine RBI and five runs scored en route to a 1.609 OPS. However, the star slugger crashed down to earth in Game 1 of the ALCS on Sunday and went 0-for-4. Don't expect that to happen again, as Guerrero's bat is simply too powerful to remain this silent when Toronto needs him the most. Considering that he hit .262 with 28 extra-base hits when playing at home in the regular season, and that he's gone .462 in three games at home in the playoffs, Guerrero will play a significant role for the Blue Jays as they aim to even things up before the series moves to Seattle for the next three games.
