Dolan is coming into Espanyol as a new transfer after a decent tenure with Blackburn, set to likely see a solid role in the midfield for the club. He is coming off a stalwart season with the Rovers, registering seven goals on 51 shots and six assists on 42 chances created to go along with 66 crosses, earning a goal contribution around every 250 minutes of play. The big question is if he will be able to replicate those stats in La Liga, taking a step up in competition. However, if he can secure his starting spot in the attacking portion of the midfield, he could see plenty of opportunities, making him a decent recruit if he can hold up on his end.
