Bukari transferred in May from Red Star Belgrade on a designated player deal. In his previous two seasons in Serbia, Bukari had double-digit goal contributions (12 goals, three assists in 2022/23, seven goals, six assists in 2023/24). In his short stint at the end of the 2024 season in Austin, Bukari made nine appearances with one goal and two assists. He's an attacking force on the wing who averaged 4.25 progressive carries and 2.35 successful take-ons per 90. Bukari should have a productive full season in Austin and provide double-digit goal contributions, especially if rumors are true that Austin is in the market for a striker.
