2025 Fantasy Outlook
Austin FC's first overall pick in their first MLS SuperDraft in 2021, Pereira earned himself a new contract extension this offseason. The deal keeps Pereira in Austin through next season with a team option for 2026. He's now played 2,000-plus minutes in each of the last three seasons, contributing four assists with some spot work on set pieces this past campaign. After Alexander Ring's option was declined, Pereira should have a more significant role in the midfield.

Pereira was having a relatively quiet performance without a noteworthy contribution until the hour mark, when he assisted Osman Bukari for his team's third goal. The midfielder isn't exactly a stat-stuffer and is usually left out of fantasy teams but the two assists over the last six starts are a proof of his ability to unlock new levels of production if given the chance.
