                  Questionable for Saturday
Doherty is questionable for Saturday's match against Fulham due to an injury, according to manager Vitor Pereira, per Tom Porcter of Molineux News. "I don't know if it's serious or not. But bad news."
                  ANALYSIS
Doherty was off injured in the club's last outing and is now in jeopardy of missing more time, as the defender is questionable for Saturday. This continues a rough spell for the defender, who has already missed three of the club's past five games due to injury. He was seeing starting time at right-back when fit recently, so the club could be forced into a change if he misses out, with Ki-Jana Hoever or Jackson Tchatchoua as possible replacements.

                  Surgery successful
Doherty underwent successful surgery on his wrist and is already training individually as he works for a return, according to Phil Hayward, the club's director of high performance. "He's desperate to get back, but obviously, we need to respect the fact that he's had surgery. There's also a lot of other associated inflammation around that area from the surgery itself, so we need to wait for that to settle down. There's obviously some healing which needs to be done on the skin surface as well. We need to get past this early stage, then we can start to really push him again. He should be absolutely fine. He should be back training pretty quickly. We can get him going fairly soon with non-contact training and doing things on the grass which don't involve a risk of him falling to maintain his fitness levels while the bone heals. Then, as soon as he's ready to go back into competition again and take full contact, he should be good to go and back at the level of fitness that he was at when he came out of the team."
