Hugo Bueno
22-Year-Old
Wolverhampton
Premier
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bueno is back with Wolves after a successful loan spell with Feyenoord where he appeared in 30 matches. He now has the chance to come back to his parent club and compete for immediate starts following the departure of Rayan Ait-Nouri. Bueno isn't as much of an offensive threat as Ait-Nouri, though not many can say that from a defender standpoint. Bueno has at least played in the Premier League before, so that's at least a positive as he hopes to become a regular once again.

Solid performance from the bench
Bueno had one shot (zero on goal), four crosses (two accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 1-0 loss against AFC Bournemouth. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 63rd minute.
ANALYSIS
Bueno took to the field at halftime Saturday and provided Wolves with a spark despite the team's struggles. He registered one key pass (his low cross nearly set up Jhon Arias for an equalizer), completed 17 of 20 passes (85%), executed four crosses (two accurate) and added two successful tackles with one interception. This was his first appearance of the season, but based on this performance he may earn himself a starting spot as the team looks to improve its defensive positions.
