Kone has moved to Roma on a permanent deal from Borussia Moenchengladbach, the Serie A site informed.

Kone is suspended for Monday's semi-final against Egypt.

Kone (thigh) was included in pieces of team training, as manager Gerardo Seoane stated, "Manu has taken a good step forward. We will see how he develops in the coming days."

Kone (thigh) has been working with the ball on the grass as he continues to work on his return, per manager Gerardo Seoane. "Manu Koné is on the pitch every day, has already worked with the ball and increased the workload. The healing process is going according to plan. I still believe that we will see Manu on the pitch again this season".
