Agirrezabala joined Valencia on loan with an option to buy ahead of the 2025/26 campaign and is the presumptive starter following the departure of Giorgi Mamardashvili. He's been a good backup and Cup goalkeeper with Athletic Club and now gets the chance to be an actual No. 1.
