Jose Sa
32-Year-Old
Wolverhampton
Premier
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Sa had a bit of a mixed 2024/25 season, though it was largely better than his brutal campaign the year prior in which he managed just four clean sheets. He finished with seven clean sheets and 48 goals allowed in 29 starts last season. Wolves improved their defensive unit, which meant that Sa didn't have to make more than 100 saves for the first time in four Premier League seasons. The move to Vitor Pereira helped immensely across the entire team and that's where their momentum is going in the new campaign with hopes of coming close to 10 clean sheets.

Concedes one in improved performance
Sa made three saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to AFC Bournemouth.
ANALYSIS
Sa was unlucky with the conceded goal Saturday. It was a deflected Marcus Tavernier's shot that left him with no real chance. His performance was a marked improvement from last week where he conceded four to Man City. He made a number of bold saves and undoubtedly helped keep the scoreline respectable despite Wolves going down to ten men after 49 minutes. A clean sheet in Wolves next EPL clash against Everton is still likely a stretch based on his team's current defensive frailties.

Latest Fantasy Rumors

Forest interested in Jose Sa
Nottingham Forest are interested in signing José Sá in the summer, according to a report from The Daily Mail.
ANALYSIS
The Trick Trees are set to miss out on Keylor Navas and are interested in Dean Henderson, but they're also keeping close tabs on Sá. This situation would need other dominoes to fall first in order to be completed, however, and the potential arrival of Caoimhin Kelleher might speed things up for all parties involved.
