As a positive, he started 18 of the final 20 league matches last season, so there is reason to believe those injuries are behind him, and he's still the top guy at left-back. His attacking output may not be the same as it was, but Gaya still has plenty of crosses in him. If all goes well, he'll surpass 25 starts and 100 crosses in 2025/26 with multiple assists added for a touch of upside.
