Gouweleeuw is set for recovery over the next few weeks, with the defender out due to a partially torn MCL that will likely take around two to four weeks to return from. That said, he will likely miss out until at least the international break, possibly returning after. He is a regular starter, so this will force a change, with Keven Schlotterbeck, Cedric Zesiger and Noahki Banks to see more time while he is out.
