Douglas Luiz

Luiz (hamstring) is an option for Saturday's match against Chelsea, according to manager Ange Postecoglou, per Sarah Clapson of Nottingham Post. "They've had two good weeks and are all available for tomorrow. They obviously haven't played, but they are all available, which is good."

Douglas Luiz (hamstring) was spotted training on grass Friday.

Luiz (hamstring) is still recovering from a hamstring injury, according to manager Ange Postecoglou. "With him, [Douglas] Luiz and a couple of others, we have got to take this time to make sure we have them up and running for the next period of games."

Luiz (hamstring) is out for Saturday's clash with Sunderland but his injury isn't considered serious, according to manager Ange Postecoglou."Dougie wasn't great yesterday either. We have sent him for a scan on his hamstring; he won't be available for this weekend. We just have got to be really careful how we use him at the early parts of the year. He obviously had a lot of issues last year at Juventus and came in late here. I think we are being cautious, but we'll see what the scans say and if he will be available this week. It is nothing serious; we know that it is nothing significant."

Luiz was forced off at halftime of Wednesday's 2-2 draw against Betis in the Europa League as a precaution due to hamstring soreness, coach Ange Postecoglou confirmed in a press conference, according to the Nottingham Post. "Douglas had a bit of hamstring soreness at half-time, so we took him off as a precaution."
