2025 Fantasy Outlook
Munoz was an easy pick last season to be one of the breakout players in the Premier League and he did just that. In a system that gives him freedom to bomb forward, Munoz went wild with four goals and five assists as one of the best attacking full-backs in the league. He started 37 matches and has started almost every match under manager Oliver Glasner since he joined February 2024. As long as Glasner remains in charge at Palace, there's no reason to doubt Munoz will continue as one of the most productive full-backs in England, essentially operating as a winger in a 3-4-2-1 formation.
Set for surgery
M/DCrystal Palace
OUT
December 10, 2025
Munoz is set for surgery on his knee, per manager Oliver Glasner. "The prognosis is four to six weeks. Always when you undergo surgery, you never know. We are always cautious. It doesn't look so serious."
ANALYSIS
Munoz is set for knee surgery and a spell on the sideline. At only four-to-six weeks, it's a minor issue or possibly some kind of clean up in his knee, an overall positive sign. Nathaniel Clyne will need to play a larger role with Munoz sidelined during one of the busiest parts of the season, though it's likely Glasner will have to mix up the right side of his formation as games pile up. Given that he seems fairly minor, the current expectation is that Munoz could be back training and playing by January.
