Dream11 Fantasy Soccer: FC Barcelona v. Napoli Preview

This article is part of our Dream11 Fantasy Soccer series.

Game Preview

FC Barcelona fell short of winning the 2019-20 Liga title, and now they can only focus in the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League if they want to earn the season lifting some piece of silverware. Los Blaugranas should be treated as favorites ahead of this contest, but they will be seriously depleted, and that might complicate them against a Napoli side that has absolutely nothing to lose. The Serie A side scored a goal at home but must win – or score at least twice – to have a shot at making it into the tournament's quarterfinals. The first leg ended with a 1-1 draw, with Dries Mertens netting for Napoli and Antoine Griezmann finding the back of the net for Los Blaugranas.

Top Picks

Lionel Messi, FC Barcelona: Messi should be an automatic captain choice every time he steps on the pitch, and this game shouldn't be any different, especially considering Barcelona are in a do-or-die situation. Expect the Argentinian star to carry Barcelona to the next round with another stellar performance.

Luis Suarez, FC Barcelona: The Uruguayan forward will probably operate as Barcelona's main scoring threat behind Messi, and he thrives when matches are tight and the stakes are high. Suarez is fully fit for this match and more than ready to create havoc in Napoli's defensive unit.
