Withdraws from UFC Paris
Duben has withdrawn from UFC Fight Night 258 in Paris on Sep. 2 due to undisclosed reasons, Nolan King of MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The reasons behind Duben's withdrawal are unclear, but the Venezuela native won't step into the octagon. She was looking to build confidence after losing to Carli Judice via TKO in her UFC debut on March 15. It's unclear when she'll be able to fight again, but in the meantime, Kennedy Freeman will have to search for a new opponent for the card to be held this September.

Second UFC bout scheduled
Duben will take on Kennedy Freeman in a flyweight bout at UFC Paris on Sept. 6, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Duben is coming off a non-competitive showing in her UFC debut, falling quickly to Carli Judice in the first round of a fight in March. She'll get another shot with the promotion against a newcomer in Freeman, one of the best pound-for-pound female fighters in the United Kingdom.

Not competitive in UFC debut
Duben lost to Carli Judice via TKO (strikes) at 1:40 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Responsible for what was likely the biggest upset in the history of Dana White's Contender Series with a 73-second knockout win over Shannon Clark last September, Duben made her official UFC debut here, and it didn't go well. Facing an opponent with an 0-2 career record with the company and all of five pro bouts under her belt entering the evening, Duben ate a head kick from Judice a little less than two minutes in and was essentially finished on the spot. A few follow-up shots later and referee Mark Smith was stepping in. The Clark result seems like a massive fluke at this point, and Duben would likely be fortunate to remain on the roster more than a couple more fights.

Official debut scheduled
Duben will take on Carli Judice in a flyweight matchup at the UFC event scheduled for March 15, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Duben picked up her UFC contract via Contender Series with a massive knockout as a sizable underdog, and now she has an official debut scheduled. Her opponent is another Contender Series product in Judice, who actually lost on the show and got an opportunity nonetheless, with both defeats of the split-decision variety. Duben will concede three inches in both height and reach to her opponent.

Gets contract as massive underdog
Duben defeated Shannon Clark via KO (punch) at 1:13 of Round 1 at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. After the show, she was one of five fighters to be awarded an official UFC contract.
ANALYSIS
Considering Clark was as high as a (-1800) betting favorite, Duben's highlight-reel finish will go down as the biggest upset in any Contender Series fight to date. Not afraid to engage early, Duben softened Clark up with a one shot before a jaw-dropping overhand right sent Clark to the canvas out cold and stiff. UFC President Dana White didn't even make her wait after the show, offering Duben the contract cageside right then and there. Just like that, the UFC's flyweight division has a new undefeated prospect who has finished all five of her pro fights.
