Abdul-Malik defeated Antonio Trocoli via submission (guillotine choke) at 1:09 of Round 1 at UFC 323 on Saturday in Las Vegas.

North of a -1500 favorite by the time the fight kicked off, Abdul-Malik did exactly what you're supposed to do in that situation. He dominated Trocoli from start to finish and got him out of there in an instant. Of course, a dominant win over Trocoli tells us less than nothing about Abdul-Malik moving forward.
