Slated to face Munhoz
Zahabi will face Pedro Munhoz in a bantamweight fight at UFC Edmonton on Nov. 2, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Zahabi defeated Javid Basharat via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) in his most recent fight in March this year, and he'll look to keep the streak alive since that was his fourth consecutive win. The soon-to-be 37 years old wants to keep proving he has enough left in the tank to continue fighting at the highest level.

Pulls massive upset in Vegas
Zahabi defeated Javid Basharat via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Zahabi was given no respect prior to this fight, marked as a +650 underdog despite entering having won three straight. It didn't start well for Aiemann, as Basharat outworked him in Round 1 and landed the cleaner, more damaging strikes, but an increase in output and effectiveness over the course of the final ten minutes allowed Zahabi to pull a huge upset. When all was said and done, Zahabi landed 43 percent of his significant strikes (75-174) while Javid was at just 32 percent (67-205). That, combined with Zahabi stuffing all four of his opponent's takedown attempts, ended up being enough.

Will fight Basharat
Zahabi is scheduled to face Javid Basharat in a bantamweight bout at the UFC's March 2 event in Saudi Arabia, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Zahabi defeated Aori Qileng in June to pick up his third consecutive UFC victory, though the streak began way back in February 2021. Nonetheless, Zahabi's hot stretch will get him a shot at Basharat, who is a perfect 14-0 in his professional career.

Picks up third straight win
Zahabi defeated Aori Qileng via KO (punches) at 1:04 of Round 1 at UFC 289 on Saturday in Vancouver.
ANALYSIS
It's a third straight win for Zahabi after dropping two of his first three with the UFC, and this was arguably his best effort to date. Not a fighter typically known for his power, Aiemann sat down on a right hand about a minute into the bout which cracked Qileng on the chin and closed the show. Zahabi might have an issue continuing this string of success moving forward considering he will be 36 years of age this coming November, but he's certainly on a great run at the moment.

Set to fight Qileng
Zahabi agreed to face Aori Qileng in a bantamweight bout at UFC 289 on June 10, Aaron Bronsteter of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Zahabi defeated Ricky Turcios last July via unanimous decision for his second consecutive victory, though those are his only fights over the past four years. Qileng has also won two straight bouts and is coming off a victory against Jay Perrin in August.
