NHL Tuesday Night Betting Picks and Parlay Strategies
Florida Panthers
at Boston Bruins
The Panthers (3-4-0) and Bruins (3-4-0) meet at TD Garden, as Brad Marchand makes his first appearance in his old stomping ground in the new season. He is likely to get a warm reception, as the former Bruins star is still very popular, and the fans never wanted to see him go.
The Panthers have really struggled away from home so far, losing all four games on the road, including a 3-0 loss in Buffalo on Saturday. Florida has been outscored 15-4 in stops in Philadelphia, Detroit, New Jersey and Buffalo, with the Under cashing in each of the past three games.
Sergei Bobrovsky is expected to start. He is 3-2-0 with a 2.02 goals-against average (GAA) with a .917 save percentage so far this season. Jeremy Swayman is expected to be in between the pipes for the B's. He is 2-2-0 with a 2.76 GAA and .917 save percentage so far.
Like the Panthers, the Bruins opened 3-0-0, but they've dropped the past four games. Boston has been outscored 17-11, including a 3-2 loss at Utah to cap off a three-game road trip. The Bruins have allowed three or more goals in each of the past four games, an average of 4.3 GPG.
Look for the Panthers to finally solve their woes on the road, and let's go high on the total, as long as you can get it at 5.5.
- Panthers ML (-156 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
- Over 5.5 Goals (-115 at Bet365, BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings and ESPN Bet Sportsbooks)

Anaheim Ducks
at Nashville Predators
The Ducks (2-2-1) and Predators (2-2-2) square off at Bridgestone Arena in the Music City, with a puck drop at 8 p.m. ET. The game can be viewed or streamed on ESPN+.
Anaheim has dominated this series in recent seasons, winning five of the past six in the series since Nov. 14, 2023, outscoring Nashville 21-13. The underdog has cashed in five of the past six in this series, too, while the Under is 3-1 in the past four meetings.
The Ducks suffered a 2-1 loss in overtime on Sunday in Chicago as the Under cashed for a second straight game. It's been feast or famine for Anaheim so far, going for exactly one goal three times in five outings, while totaling 11 goals in the other two games. Anaheim has allowed 3.6 GPG in the five games, as defense and goaltending have been an issue early on.
For the Predators, they suffered a 4-1 loss at Winnipeg on Saturday, slipping to 0-2-1 in the past three outings. The Under is 5-1 in the past six games, too. Juuse Saros has been hot for the home side, going 2-1-2 with a 2.35 GAA and .918 save percentage, but he deserves better offensive support.
Despite Anaheim's dominance in this series of late, we'll back Nashville on the moneyline, and go low on the total.
- Predators ML (-125 at DraftKings Sportsbooks)
- Under 6.5 Goals (-135 at DraftKings and ESPN Bet Sportsbooks)
Colorado Avalanche
at Utah Mammoth
The Avalanche (5-0-1) and the Mammoth (4-2-0) meet at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN in the second end of the doubleheader.
Colorado has won three of the past four meetings, including a 2-1 win in Denver on Oct. 9 as the Under (6.5) cashed for the fourth time in the past four meetings. The losing side has scored exactly one goal in each of those battles since Oct. 24, 2024.
On Oct. 9, Ross Colton opened the scoring with an even-strength goal at 10:57 of the first period, while Dylan Guenther leveled the score with a power-play goal late in the second. Nathan MacKinnon notched a PPG early in the third for the winner.
Karel Vejmelka allowed the two goals on 27 shots, and he probably deserved a better fate. Scott Wedgewood turned aside 32 of 33 shots for the victory, as he has been hot out of the gate. He is 5-0-1 with a 1.48 GAA and .938 save percentage, holding down the fort with MacKenzie Blackwood sidelined due to a lower-body injury.
Look for Vejmelka and the Mammoth to deal the Avalanche their first loss of the season in another low-scoring affair. Go rather aggressively on the Under here.
