Edmonton Oilers
at Florida Panthers
The Oilers (9-9-5) and the Panthers (11-8-1) meet at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Fla. in a rematch of the past two Stanley Cup Final matchups.
Edmonton has been dismal on the road this season, going 4-8-3, while Florida has protected home ice well, managing an 8-2-1 record to date.
Calvin Pickard (2-3-2, 3.87 GAA, .851 SV%) is projected to be in between the pipes for the Oilers, while Sergei Bobrovsky (10-5-0, 2.61 GAA, .892 SV%, 2 SO) should start for the two-time defending champs.
Edmonton wraps up a long, seven-game road trip in Sunrise, and it is 2-3-1 in the first six stops. The Oilers lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in overtime on Thursday behind Pickard.
Florida picked up a 1-0 shutout win over the New Jersey Devils behind Bob, who kicked aside all 32 shots he faced. That came on the heels of an 8-5 shootout with Vancouver, showing that the Panthers can get it done in a number of ways.
Expect the Panthers to get it done as moderate favorites, while going high on the total.
- Panthers ML (-130 at BetMGM and Fanatics Sportsbooks)
- Over 5.5 Goals (-130 at Bet365, Caesars, DraftKings and FanDuel Sportsbooks)

Seattle Kraken
at Pittsburgh Penguins
The Kraken (10-5-5) and Penguins (10-6-4) meet at PPG Paints Arena at 7 p.m. ET. Seattle has been very ordinary on the road, going 4-4-2, while Pittsburgh is a decent 5-3-1 at home.
Seattle has dominated this series, sweeping the two regular-season meetings last season, while going 6-1 in the past seven installments since Jan. 27, 2022. The Under is 6-0-1 in the span, too.
Joey Daccord (7-3-3, 2.78 GAA, .899 SV%, 1 SO) is expected to go for Seattle vs. rookie Sergei Murashov (1-1-0, 1.52 GAA, .932 SV%, 1 SO) in a potentially exciting matchup.
Daccord has allowed five goals on 50 shots in two starts since returning from a two-week absence due to an upper-body injury. He has allowed three or fewer goals in four of his five November starts.
Pittsburgh was drilled 5-0 by the Minnesota Wild last night in their return from Sweden, and the Pens tumbled to 2-4-2 in the past eight outings. The Under has cashed in five straight games, with Pittsburgh averaging 1.6 goals per game (GPG) on offense, with 2.4 GPG allowed in the span.
Back the Kraken on the road, and let's go low.
- Kraken ML (+100 at DraftKings and Fanatics Sportsbooks)
- Under 5.5 Goals (+108 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
Dallas Stars
at Calgary Flames
The Stars (13-5-3) and Flames (6-13-3) renew acquaintances at the Scotiabank Saddledome at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
Dallas has posted a sparkling 7-1-2 record on the road, while Calgary is just 3-4-2 on home ice. The Stars won three of four meetings last season, including a 5-2 win in Calgary in the most recent encounter on March 27.
The Stars have picked up 12 of a possible 14 points in the past seven games, going 6-1-0 with the Under cashing in four of the past six outings.
The Flames have improved lately, going 2-1-1 in the past four outings, while the Over has hit in the past three games. Calgary posted a 6-2 win in Buffalo close out a quick two-game road trip. It had just nine goals in the previous six games, or 1.5 GPG, so perhaps the win over the Sabres will snap them on track.
Jake Oettinger (8-4-2, 2.84 GAA, .899 SV%, 1 SO) and Dustin Wolf (5-11-2, 3.07 GAA, .892 SV%, 1 SO) are expected to battle in the crease. Let's roll with Dallas to get the job done, and it's rather surprising that it isn't favored by more. And, we'll back the Under.
- Stars ML (-146 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
- Under 6.5 Goals (-142 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
