The Preview

Although U.S. Open sectional qualifying resulted in the withdrawals of several notable names from this week's field, a small contingent of the Official World Golf Ranking's top-25 will still head to Memphis, TN for the FedEx St. Jude Classic hosted by TPC Southwind. The field is highlighted by No. 2 Dustin Johnson, No. 9 Brooks Koepka and No. 20 Phil Mickelson to name a few, but a somewhat struggling Daniel Berger could steal the show as he attempts to win the event for a third straight year. TPC Southwind is infamous for leading the Tour on an annual basis in water balls, while SG: T2G and GIR percentage are the pathway to success on this tough par-70 track. You shouldn't have to worry about any weather-related stacks this week, and even the wind is slated to remain mild as scorable conditions are expected if the fairways/greens don't run too dry.

FantasyDraft Value Picks - based on $100,000 salary cap

Cream of the Crop

Phil Mickelson - $16,900

Throughout the past five years at TPC Southwind, Mickelson has showed up each time with results of 9-T2-T3-T11-T2 since 2013. Everyone knows that Lefty is running out of time to complete the Career Grand Slam with a U.S. Open victory still evading his legacy, so he'll be looking to fine-tune his game this week coming off a T13 at the Memorial.

Henrik Stenson - $16,700

Since a missed cut at the Valspar Championship, the Swede has notched five consecutive top-25s as he heads to Memphis. Stenson hasn't played here since a T13 in 2012, but he leads the PGA Tour in both driving accuracy and GIR percentage, while he's also 15th in birdie average.

Daniel Berger - $16,000

Berger is due for a solid finish after placing no better than 57th in three consecutive starts, and what better place to do it than at the FedEx St. Jude Classic where he's the two-time defending champion. Berger played the event in a combined 23-under to secure his victories the past two years, so he'll hope course history trumps recent form this week.

Glue Guys

Peter Uihlein - $15,000

Riding the hot hand with Uihlein, the former Oklahoma State standout has finished 5-T21-T5 in his last three starts to reach a career-best 48th in the OWGR. Uihlein ranks top-45 on Tour in both driving distance and GIR percentage, while he's also ninth in proximity from over 200 yards.

Luke List - $14,600

An extremely affordable price tag for someone who's third on Tour in SG: Tee-to-Green, fourth in SG: Off-the-Tee, 15th in SG: Around-the-Green and 17th in the FedExCup standings. List placed T18 at the St. Jude Classic in 2017 and owns seven top-15 finishes throughout the 2017-18 season.

Kevin Chappell - $14,100

Chappell's recent form is uninspiring with four missed cuts in his last five starts, but he still ranks 11th on Tour in SG: Off-the-Tee, 32nd in SG: Approach, 27th in SG: Tee-to-Green and 20th in birdie average. The 54th-ranked player in the OWGR has gone T4-T22 in two career starts at the St. Jude Classic.

Bargain Bin

Ben Crane - $13,200

Crane, who hasn't missed a cut since early February, placed top-10 during his last start at the Fort Worth Invitational where he carded just one bogey throughout his last two rounds combined. He owns three career top-10s at the St. Jude Classic, highlighted by his 10-under performance in 2014 when he took home the hardware.

Brian Gay - $12,600

The 64th-ranked player in the FedExCup standings won this event in 2009 and added a pair of top-15s at TPC Southwind since his victory. He's 17th on Tour in driving accuracy, 44th in SG: Putting and 15th in SG: Around-the-Green this season.

Joel Dahmen - $12,300

Dahmen broke 70 in all eight of his rounds at the Fort Worth Invitational and AT&T Byron Nelson in his past two starts, extending his streak of top-20s to three consecutive events. He also placed T18 in his St. Jude Classic debut last year.
