Tournament Preview
The Rolex Series continues this week with the Turkish Airlines Open. Once again the tournament is being contested at Regnum Carya Golf and Spa Resort. This is a no cut event with a reduced field. Since golfers will be playing all four rounds, birdie makers and scorers in general will be ideal. The resort course consists of tree-lined fairways with bunkers and water hazards throughout. The greens are large, undulating and fast. Good putting will be key to a victory this week. In addition to course history and recent form, a good approach game will be considered when making picks.

DRAFTINGS PICKS
Thorbjorn Olesen - $10,300 (11/1)
Olesen arrives in good form, following a T7 at WGC HSBC Champions. He was solo fifth here last year and won in 2016. His skill set is obviously perfect for this course. He is ranked sixth on tour in birdies and 31st in par 4 scoring. Olesen has been consistently strong with his putter, and I expect him to have another good showing at Regnum Carya Golf and Spa Resort.
Kiradech Aphibarnrat - $8,900 (22/1)
This is a course where Aphibarnrat has enjoyed some success. He was T6 last year and T25 in 2016. He comes to Turkey with momentum from his T4 at WGC - HSBC. Aphibarnrat is a scorer, he has one of the highest FPPG in the field. He appears to be a steal at this price. He is ranked 24th in par-4 scoring and 66th in putts per round.
Joost Luiten - $8,600 (33/1)
I was on Luiten last time, at Andalucia Valderrama Masters, and he came through with a T11. I would think that solid play would continue this week. He finished T16 last year at Turkish Airlines Open. Luiten is another scorer with the ideal skill set for Regnum Carya Golf and Spa Resort. He is ranked 23rd in par-4 scoring and 58th in birdies on tour. His approach game is fantastic, he is ranked seventh in SG: approach.
Alexander Bjork - $8,500 (55/1)
Bjork's good form has returned after a rough patch at the end of summer. He finished T28 last week at WGC HSBC and was solo second before that at Sky Sports British Masters. He is ranked first on tour in SG: approach and is 38th in putts per round. He was T48 at Turkish Airlines Open last year, but that was during a particularly not so good stretch of golf for him. He will greatly improve on that this week.
