Tournament Preview
Fresh off the heels of the Ryder Cup, the European Tour continues this week in Scotland. The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is a celebrity Pro-Am event that is contested on three golf courses. Golfers will play all three courses the first three days and then the cut will be made. Those who make the cut will play St. Andrews again for the final round. The courses are links style and wind is the prime defense. Tournament history and recent form will guide the picks this week, along with accuracy with irons and solid putting.

DraftKings Picks
Chris Wood - $9,100 (25/1)
Wood arrives in Scotland riding some good recent form. He was T12 last time out at Portugal Masters and solo second prior to that at KLM Open. Wood finished T4 at Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in 2015, which was the last time he played in this tournament. He has a strong approach game, ranking 48th on tour in SG: approach. His putter has been hot as well, ranking 25th in SG: putting.
Ross Fisher - $8,600 (40/1)
Fisher is a course horse pick. His form hasn't been the greatest, but he came to Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in similar conditions the last two years and finished solo second and T2. He just seems to have this tournament down; perhaps he enjoys the format. Fisher is a good iron player, ranking 53rd in SG: approach. This looks like a great spot for him to get back on track.
Padraig Harrington - $7,900 (66/1)
Harrington has won this tournament twice. He missed the cut last time out at Portugal Masters, but has shown some nice form recently. Padraig finished solo fifth at KLM Open and solo second at Czech Masters. He is a great links player and can handle the wind. Expect him to have another strong finish this week.
Soren Kjeldsen - $7,500 (66/1)
Kjeldsen is another great links player who is heating up. He has made his last four cuts, which included a couple of T12s and a T6. Kjeldsen was T7 at Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in 2016 and T9 in 2015. He is ranked 76th on tour in greens in regulation and 71st in SG: putting.
