Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Patrick re-signed with the Lions in the offseason after spending the 2024 campaign in Detroit, catching 33 of 44 targets for 394 yards and three touchdowns over 16 regular-season games. The 31-year-old was the Lions' No. 3 option at wide receiver behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams last year, but that may change this season. The team traded up into the third round of the 2025 Draft to select Isaac TeSlaa, a 6-foot-4 wideout from Arkansas who posted a 39.5-inch vertical and possesses other elite physical attributes. Patrick likely will have the early edge over TeSlaa on Detroit's depth chart, but that may not last long. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Just one catch vs. San Francisco
Patrick caught his only target for minus-1 yard in Sunday's 26-21 win over the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
Patrick operated as Jacksonville's No. 5 wideout once again Sunday, playing just 19 offensive snaps. The veteran wide receiver has now caught two of his three targets for 15 yards over four games this season. He's likely to remain a depth option in the Jaguars' wide-receiver corps in a Week 5 matchup against the Chiefs.

Patrick last played in 2021. He was entering 2022 off a pair of similar seasons in which he averaged 52 catches, 738 yards, 5.5 touchdowns and 82 targets. At that point, Patrick had been in the league for four years. The receiver appeared to be a player on the rise. Then, bad luck struck. During the 2022 preseason, Patrick suffered a season-ending knee injury. As he looked to return the following year, Patrick tore his Achilles in August of 2023. Coming off a pair of lost seasons, it's difficult to know what ability level the 30 year old will be playing. If Patrick could win a starting role and play at his 2020-2021 level, he could be a value in fantasy drafts.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Possible target for Jets
Patrick could be a possible target for the Jets to improve their wide receiver depth for the regular season, per Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Patrick's a candidate to be cut by the Lions when they trim their roster down to 53 players, or it would likely require minimal draft compensation in a trade to pry him away from Detroit. The Jets already added one former Lions wide receiver earlier in the offseason in Josh Reynolds, and Patrick would be another familiar face for Jets head coach Aaron Glenn and offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand, who were employed by the Lions as the defensive coordinator and passing game coordinator, respectively, in 2024.
