2024 Fantasy Outlook
Hill's versatile skill set makes him an enticing fantasy asset, especially since he's eligible at the relatively thin tight end position in the majority of formats. He sees occasional playing time at tight end and on special teams, but most of Hill's fantasy production comes from under center as a wildcat quarterback. Hill has averaged 6.0 rushing touchdowns, as well as 451.8 rushing yards per year, over the last four seasons. He caught six TDs back in 2019, when Hill played predominantly wide receiver, but his career high in receiving yards actually came last season, when he had 291. Hill's days as a starting quarterback option appear to be behind him, but he does have 11 touchdown passes in his career and threw one last season. The Saints hired Klint Kubiak as their new offensive coordinator in February, but while the coaching change could lead to some changes in Hill's usage, Hill's athleticism should earn him a significant role once again in his age-34 season. Compiles 60 total yards in loss
Hill secured four of five targets for 41 yards, rushed five times for 19 yards and a touchdown and threw an incompletion on his only pass attempt in the Saints' 23-22 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Hill filled his usual multi-purpose role and found his way to new season highs in receptions and receiving yards partly due to the exit of Chris Olave with a concussion in the first quarter. Hill also recorded his third rushing touchdown of the season on a seven-yard run in the second quarter, and he fell just short of reaching the 20-yard mark on the ground for the third straight game. The versatile veteran could see his involvement as a pass catcher remain slightly elevated during a Week 10 home matchup against the Falcons if Olave isn't able to clear concussion protocol in time for the contest.

Hill is officially listed as a tight end in many fantasy leagues, though the majority of his value comes from plays where he takes the snap. He’s set to reprise his role as a jack of all trades and wildcat quarterback in New Orleans, though the Saints may be more reluctant to sub out pricey new quarterback Derek Carr in key spots. Jameis Winston is still around as the backup, so the dream fantasy scenario of the TE-eligible Hill starting at quarterback is at least two injuries away. Hill should continue to get most of his playing time in red-zone and short-yardage packages, and he has run in 20 touchdowns over the past three seasons while throwing for 10 and catching three. Like last year, Hill – who turns 33 in August – could have a few big games while barely seeing the ball in others. He had only 77 receiving yards in 2022, and of his 575 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground, 193 rushing yards and four touchdowns came in two games.

Considered doubtful for Thursday
Hill is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Broncos due to a rib injury, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The versatile Hill has already missed two games due to the injury, and a third consecutive absence seems almost certain at this point. The veteran's presence would have been particularly beneficial Thursday, considering that wideouts Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed will be sidelined due to a concussion and a knee injury, respectively.
